Hazara Community of Washington HCWA and Kabul Washington Association came together and celebrated Nowrooz on Mar 20, 2023. The festival started at 5pm with people arriving at the venue hugging and greeting Nowrooz Mubarak to one another. The celebration included live music, poem, cultural presentations, dancing, and of course kids in their new cloths playing, signing and running.
Hazara Community of Washington and Kabul Washington Association are committed to upkeep the Nowrooz tradition of bringing happiness, rejuvenation, peace and forgiveness to all, and pass on this tradition to future generations. Hazara Community of Washington offers Happy Nowrooz and New Year 1402 to you and your loved ones, we are extremely happy and grateful for our government to celebrate Nowrooz at the State and Federal levels and we are looking forward to even greater Nowrooz festivals in years to come.
